Nach 18 Jahren der Produktion von hochwertigen Kurbeln, Lenkern, Bekleidungsgegenständen und vielem mehr musste die Firma Race Face aus British Columbia, Kanada nun Insolvenz anmelden.

Die Traurigkeit über den Verlust einer Kultmarke ist bei vielen Radlern zu spüren und viele haben Angst nun nicht mehr an ihre Race Face Teile zu kommen oder Garantieansprüche nicht mehr gelten machen zu können, doch Dirk Janz, Race Face Importeur und Inhaber von Bikeaction, gibt Entwarnung.
Alle eingegangen Bestellungen können voraussichtlich noch bearbeitet werden.
Wie es mit der Firma weiter geht, bleibt noch offen, aber man geht davon aus, dass sich ein geeigneter Käufer findet, der das Geschäft mit der gewohnten Qualität weiter führt. Auf Grund der Insolvenz wurden bereits 90% der Mitarbeiter in Kanada entlassen und es ruht das Geschäft dort.

The company will undoubtedly be sold to a new buyer, and the brand, as we know it today, will forever be changed, but we are proud of the Race Face legacy and the impact it made on the mountain biking industry and community.”
